Our Finance Panel & Services
We can introduce you to a limited number of finance providers and their investment products based on your credit rating. We act as an agent for these lenders. We are not an independent financial advisor and do not provide independent financial advice. We will provide you with information regarding finance products, but you must decide if they are suitable for your personal circumstances.
How We Are Paid (Commission Disclosure)
We do not charge you a fee for our credit broking services. Instead, we will typically receive a commission payment from the finance provider if you choose to enter into an agreement with them. This commission is usually structured as a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the total amount you choose to borrow.
How Commission Affects Your Agreement
In accordance with FCA rules, we operate a non-discretionary commission model. The interest rate or APR offered to you is set dynamically by the lender based on your credit score, the amount borrowed, and the vehicle age. We have zero discretion to negotiate, increase, or adjust the interest rate to earn more commission. While commission rates vary between different lenders on our panel, the specific amount we receive does not influence the interest rate you are charged.
What We Do With The Commission
At Blackstone Prestige we are heavily motivated by our moral & ethical values and we firmly believe in working towards creating a better and fairer world for everybody. Therefore we donate 100% of any commission we receive to charities such as local food banks. It is also the reason our prices are fixed, to ensure it's fair for all, whether you're a seasoned haggler or not.
Your Right to Request Information
Under the Consumer Credit Act and FCA regulations, you have a right to know the exact amount of commission we will earn from your deal. You can request this information at any time—before your finance application is processed or before you sign your agreement. If you wish to request a commission disclosure, please contact us.
Blackstone Prestige is also registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) to handle personal data safely & securely (Reg. ZA780684).
